So what is SEO copywriting?
I’m glad you asked, because it’s a commonly misunderstood term.
Copywriting is, simply put, all the text that you would find on websites, in advertisements, in emails, blogs, even the little brochure or slip of paper you find in your mailbox.
SEO copywriting specifically refers to copywriting for websites, blogs and online advertisements. SEO stands for ‘Search Engine Optimisation’ and it refers to all the tactics SEO copywriters use to get websites ranking higher in Google search results. While a copywriter can write great copy for humans, an SEO copywriter understands things like keywords, metatags, and relevance. An SEO Copywriter specialises in writing great copy for humans and search engines.
At the end of the day, copywriters write the words that get you noticed.

What forms of copy will you write for me?
All kinds! I write anything from brochures and flyers, to web copy, blogs and emails. Just shoot me an email below with your needs and I’ll show you how I can help.
Where are you based?
I’m a freelance SEO copywriter from Melbourne, but writing doesn’t really have a postcode, so I accept clients from all over the globe, as long as they have an internet connection, and a means of speaking to me (Skype, WhatsApp etc.)
Do we have to meet in person?
Nope! If you have access to a phone, we’ll organise a time to discuss your project remotely. I’m happy to meet in person if you’re in the Melbourne area, but this will incur a small travel fee.
How long does the briefing take?
It changes from project to project, but allow two hours for us to really get to the heart of your business and what you want to say.
These things can take time, especially if you want me to really be able to reflect your business well. Never trust a copywriter who doesn’t take a detailed briefing before starting work.
How much do you charge?
I charge by the project, not by the hour. Every project is different, so it’s best not to quote prices until I know what it is exactly that you need.
Shoot me an email below so that I can give you a quote that’s been specifically tailored to you.
Who does the pictures on your website and blogs?
I do! I’ve been an artist for years. I’m mostly a sculptor, but I also love doodling fun little cartoon drawings like the ones you find on this website. When I started my website and blog, I hated the idea of using stock photography. It felt so boring to me and I didn’t want to have a website that looked like everyone else’s. So I started drawing my own illustrations!
Would you do the illustrations for my website too?
Absolutely! Soon after I started doing the illustrations for my own website, I started getting some great feedback. So I figured … why not offer web illustration as a service! With illustrations designed specifically to suit your content, I can help you explain complex ideas in a simple, visual way, add a bit of interest and a splash of colour to your page, and just straight up make your website look good.
I want realistic artwork on my page. Will you do that for me?
The art style you see on this page is the style I can do for you. Art is very time consuming and my main focus is on copywriting. I offer the web illustrations because it’s something I enjoy, it was something I was already doing, and I knew it could help businesses. I’m afraid if you want a different style you’ll have to find someone else.
Is your last name really Ventura?
Yep! It’s both a blessing and a curse.
Do you get called ‘Ace’ a lot?
I’ll let you guess the guess the answer to that one yourself.
Do you have any questions that didn’t get answered? Shoot me a message below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
